Arc Southeastern Minnesota Jail-A-Thon

Arc Southeastern Minnesota is currently looking for volunteers to be a part of our 2007 Jail-A-Thon. This year they have two options available; come to jail or house arrest. Telephones will be provided for your use and all participants will receive a small gift bag. The top three pledge raisers will receive grand prizes! All proceeds will benefit Arc Southeastern Minnesota. Arc provides advocacy, support, and education to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families in Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Olmsted, Rice, Wabasha and Winona Counties.
Here's how it works: Participants are brought into a mock jail for one hour between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Hy-Vee Foods at Barlow Plaza where they are given unlimited access to local and long distance calls. “Jailbirds” will call friends, family, colleagues, etc. to secure their bail, which is in the form of pledges to Arc Southeastern MN. Arc will be responsible for the collection of these pledges.

If you are interested, please contact Ryan Gosch at 507-287-2032 or e-mail rgosch@arcse-mn.org. Any support given is greatly appreciated!
