Hampton Inn General Manager Dan Nelson Honored with Karl Shurson Award

Dan Nelson, general manager of the Hampton Inn of Rochester, was recently presented the prestigious Karl Shurson Quality Award by the Rochester Area Quality Council. The Shurson Award recognizes the recipient for providing visionary leadership, acting as a role model and advocate for continuous improvement and performance excellence, and for fostering shared learning.

The award can be given to both individual and organizational recipients. Nelson was recognized individually for being a committed advocate and champion for quality in the organizations he supports. He is a long time member of the Rochester Area Quality Council and an ambassador for the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce. The Hampton Inn of Rochester was also the organizational recipient of this year’s Karl Shurson award.
