Hot off the press - we just received news from KXLT-TV in Rochester that Ali Lucia has been named the new weekday anchor of FOX 47 News. Ali comes to Rochester from Minneapolis where she was a Sideline/Feature Reporter with FSN North.Here is some background on Lucia straight from KXLT-TV:
Ali moved to Minnesota from Colorado when she was 15 years old and graduated from Wayzata High School. She received a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Communications Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
During college she worked in the Gopher Football and Basketball offices. Ali is an avid sports fan. She covered everything from the Minnesota Twins to the New England Patriots, and the Minnesota State High School Tournaments.
Ali joins Chief Meteorologist Randy Brock Monday through Friday nights at 9 p.m. on the area’s only local primetime news. Welcome!
