Olmsted County History Center Announces Hiring of New Executive Director


Some news from the History Center of Olmsted County this morning -- The center's Board of Directors has announced the hiring of a new executive director. Below are a few excerpts from the press release.

"James Lundgren, a life long resident of Minnesota, will start on Feb. 4, 2008. He comes to the History Center from The National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota. Lundgren also served as Executive Director at the Blue Earth County Historical Society in Mankato, Minnesota and as Executive Director at the Rice County Historical Society in Faribault, Minnesota. Lundgren is deeply involved in history and is pleased to be working at one of the largest Historical Societies in Southern Minnesota. He is an avid bicyclist and living history re-enactor of the early 1800s. Lundgren looks forward to meeting area supporters of the History Center as soon as possible."
