Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times

At this webcast, which is open and free to the public, Harriet A. Washington will be speaking about issues in her book, Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times. The book is the first and only comprehensive history of medical experimentationon African Americans. Ms. Washington will be speaking at the U of M Campus in the Twin Cities, and the event will be available via webcast at the University of Minnesota in Rochester. If time allows, a brief discussion will follow.
