Courtney Lawson joins IMAA Staff

IMAA (Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association) is pleased to announce that Courtney Lawson has recently joined the staff as program manager of Healthcare Access & Education Services.

Lawson comes to IMAA from the Diversity Council where she was the development and communications director for the past 1 1/2 years. With a Masters of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan, Lawson is ready to tackle the challenge of managing the Community Health Worker program that works to reduce health disparities by building bridges between diverse communities and health care systems. Lawson, who is also a Chamber Ambassador. will also head up the Nursing Career Academy at IMAA which supports college education for immigrants and refugees in health care fields.
