CHAMBER BOARD PASSES MOTION TO SUPPORT UPCOMING SCHOOL BOND REFERENDUM

At this mornings monthly board meeting, the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors, acknowledging the importance of education in developing a vital workforce, unanimously recommended support for the Sept. 25th School Bond Referendum to build a new public elementary school in northwest Rochester due to the growth of the community and overcrowding of the existing elementary schools.

Rochester School Board Vice President Cris Fischer presented to the Board prior to the motion being passed. To read the press release issued by the Chamber following the meeting, click here.
