Chamber Ambassadors "Adopt" Two Local Families

The Chamber Ambassadors “adopted” two local families in need this holiday season through Lutheran Social Services. Collectively, the Ambassadors gave over $1000 worth of gifts, gift cards and other fun holiday items to some very deserving members of our community.

In one family, the father is out of work and the grandmother is very ill, so extended family members have come to the area to help care for and support them. This family could hardly afford gas to take the grandmother to her medical appointments, but with these gifts will now have some breathing room in their budget.

The other family is headed by a single parent who also is raising her grandchildren, in addition to her own younger children, and cannot afford many of the basic necessities of life. Thank you to the Chamber Ambassadors for making Rochester a better place to live by helping others this holiday season.
