Youth Commission of Olmsted County Announces "Outstanding Youth Award" Registration Information

The Youth Commission of Olmsted County is pleased announce the 13th annual "Outstanding Youth Award." We invite you to nominate a youth who has gone above and beyond expectations to make a difference in our community by:

• Helping others

• Living a positive lifestyle

• Demonstrating personal integrity

• Leading by example

Winners will be recognized at a ceremony to be held during the April 22, 2008, meeting of the Olmsted County Board of Commissioners. It is a special and exciting event, with invitations sent to winners, their families, nominators, elected officials and the press. Each winner will be presented with an award followed by a reception in the Government Center Rotunda. All nominees will be sent a recognition certificate.

Nominees must be between the ages of 12 and 20 and reside or attend school in Olmsted County. Nomination deadline is Friday, March 14, 2008.
