Nominate a Local Business for Annual Chamber Awards

Nominate a local business for one of four annual Chamber awards. Deadline for nomination is Monday, Sept. 15, 2008. Award winners will be recognized at the Annual Member Celebration on Oct. 23rd.

Business of the Year Award
The Business of the Year Award is presented to a business member of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce.To attain this award the business must show commitment in the areas of community service, client relations, investment in employees, business ethics, and business improvement and growth.Criteria:

Jan Warfield Volunteer of the Year Award
This award is presented annually to a member of the Chamber of Commerce who has demonstrated outstanding participation and leadership in Chamber activities. This award is given in Jan Warfield's memory in honor of her dedication and commitment to the Chamber.

Lamp of Knowledge Award
This award is presented annually to recognize a Chamber member business, agency, or organization that actively supports higher education partnerships in Southeastern Minnesota. This award is a joint program between the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and Greater Rochester Area University Center.

Also, this is the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce in Minnesota - I notice the company is from New York!
